1. Easter egg hunts
There’s really not much more to say here. Just look at the lovely picture of the winners’ spoils from my office’s hunt. Granted there are rolos mixed up in there, but it’s chocolate never-the-less.
2. Two bank holidays
What’s that I hear you cry? Four day weekend? Yes please, and thankyou very much Jesus. You truly did sacrifice yourself for a good and true cause.
3. Epic films on TV
Couples Retreat, Unbreakable, Arachnophobia, Sister Act 2 and The Mummy Returns are just five great reasons to stay in this weekend. 2013’s TV schedule really is something quite biblical.
4. Drinking on a school night
The transferral of hangover from office to home is always worth a mention, and of course it means that you can enjoy watching a stellar performance from Vince Vaughn in Couples Retreat (see above).
5. Cute pictures of baby animals
That’s all.
(REASONS TO BE PISSED OFF: You didn’t do Lent. Therefore Easter egg consumption is not succeeded by feelings of achievement.)
